Government Information (Public Access) Act:
Introductory and Advanced training courses for 2011

The commencement of the new Government Information (Public Access) (GIPA) legislation has had a significant impact on the resources required by state and local government agencies.

Having trained approximately 400 people in GIPA Introductory Courses and Advanced Courses or Briefings, all attendees expressed their concern about the potential impact on the resources required in agencies, especially local government bodies and state-owned corporations. Eight out of ten Survey respondents rated our Courses at 4 or 5 out of 5 for overall content and value.

GIPA Officers from agencies need to start now by attending training.

With that in mind please note the above Training dates:
The dates provided apply to courses to be presented in the Sydney CBD; however, they are dependent on receiving sufficient bookings to allow Courses to be viable.
If demand is sufficient, additional Courses will also be conducted in the Sydney CBD.

Phillip will also conduct courses in Outer Sydney suburbs and regional areas depending on attendance numbers.

Depending on demand, separate Introductory and/or Advanced courses can also be conducted as In-house training to meet different requirements. Courses are also available for specific industries, e.g. Local Government agencies, or Briefing Sessions for management or general staff.
